ADDENDUM TO REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL - dated May 2, 2008
Covington Water District (District) announces a Request for Proposals from consultants to review, recommend and provide a turn-key installation of the District Campus Security System. The successful consultant will provide planning, engineering, construction, installation and training. Submittals due: May 16, 2008 at 4 PM, submitted to the District office at 18631 300th Pl SE, Covington, WA 98042.
Covington Water District requests proposals for professional engineering services for the rehabilitation of Water Storage Tank 4. The selected firm will design coating, seismic and safety improvements for the tank and provide construction support services. Proposals are due May 30, 2008 at 4 PM, submitted to the District office at 18631 300th Pl SE, Covington, WA 98042.
A site visit of the Tank 4 property is scheduled for May 14th at 10 AM. Consultants are asked to be at the District office by 10 AM at which time District staff will lead visitors to the tank site. Please refer to the District’s point of contact indicated in the RFP should you have any questions
Covington Water District, in conjunction with Itron, Inc. and National Meters and Automation, Inc, is updating its electronic meter reading equipment. National Meters’ crews will be in your area for several days exchanging the electronic reading device attached to your meter. There will be no interruption of your water service and each device should take approximately 10 minutes to exchange.
