WaterWise Landscaping

The Covington Water District would like to help you achieve an easy care, environmentally friendly AND beautiful landscape.  A water thrifty landscape helps to reduce our community's summer outdoor water use.

In the winter, CWD supplies an average of 3 million gallons a day.  Our peak summer water use was 8.68 million gallons on July 24, 2006.  Landscape irrigation accounts for a large portion of this increased use.

We can each do our part to conserve our precious water resources.  Click on the links above to learn what you can easily do to help preserve our water resources for existing and future generations and the environment.
