Emergency Water Main Replacement on Timberlane Way SE.
Covington Water District is informing customers of the emergency water main replacement and associated road repairs taking place on Timberlane Way SE following a recent water main failure that caused extensive roadway damage. The water main failed in multiple locations and must be replaced before permanent road restoration can be completed.
Project Overview:
- Replacement of the water main from SE 265th ST to SE 267th ST within the southbound travel lane of Timberlane Way SE.
- Traffic reduced to a single alternating lane through the work zone, controlled by flaggers.
- Road and water main repair work is already underway and is expected to continue until October 3, 2025.
- Final paving will occur once the new water main is in place.
